The cello-piano duo, Erling Blöndal Bengtsson and Nina Kavtaradze, had a sensational debut in Copenhagen 1986. It was immediately named "the favorite duo of the danish audiences" by the critics. Since then, appearences in festivals and in the most prestigous musical societies in Europe and U.S.A. followed, as well as numerous radio and TV-productions. 

The duo´s CD-recordings include works by Rachmaninoff and Shostakovich (on the label Kontrapunkt), Brahms, Debussy, Barber and Prokofieff (on the label Danacord), all received with the greatest critical acclaim.
